I am reposting my interest, I appreciate any help from anyone who can connect. I am looking for any information on William McKie. I have no date or place of birth. Thanks :-)
William Mckie married to Mary S. Davidson ( S might be for Stewart)
Their known children are,Thomas Mckie abt. 1833, Old Luce, Wigtown, he married mary Guthrie (My 3x's greatgrands)
John McKie abt. 1836 same place,Anne McKie abt. 1838 same place, William Mckie abt. 1840 same also, Hugh Mckie abt. 1843, William McKie abt. 1845 same place also, Samuel McKie abt.1850 also the same.
In the LDS , it also list an Archibald McKie b. 1850 to a William McKie and Mary Davidson, and James McKay in 1852 to the same parents but born in Gillistown, Antrim, Ireland? I am still checking these out, since I cannot fit them in????
Thomas Mckie who married Mary Guthrie's known children are,
Ann abt 1859, William abt. 1861, William abt, 1863, Thomas abt, 1866, (Mary abt. 1857 my 2x,s great), all born in St. Quivox , Ayr, Agnes about 1868, born in Tarbolton, Charles Mckay abt. 1872 born in Milton, and Robert Mckay born in 1874 in Caddar, Lanark, Scotland.I am also trying to check out Charles and Robert to see if they really are their children?
