McKie in Wigtownshire Scotland

Does anyone have any links or info on William McKie, born c.1805 in Ireland and married a Ann (???). They had a Dorcas McKie c. 1834 in Ireland, a John born ??? and possibly other children. Found on 1881 Census in Culhorn, Wigtownshire Scotland living with their daughter Dorcas and her husband William Henderson. William McKie, Dorcas' father died in Culhorn in 1881, August 31st I believe. Their is a connection to Dorcas and her family with William McKie born at Kirkcolm circa 1866. His parents were John McKie and Agnes McGhee. John McKie ( born in Ireland) was in turn the son of Ann McKie (born in Ireland and William McKie. Even we can't get the link solid in record yet, there is belief Dorcas was the sister of John. In 1891 Census, John McKie in Kirkholm had a daughter of 14 living at home called Dorcasell. Also in the same census it shows Ann living with them, his mother and she is 84 and widowed. A kind gentle told me that the last name possibly could show up as McKay as he is related to John and William McKie, but record keepers spelled his father's name McKay. It was just left and used to date by his family. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Most of the family members "hung" around Kirkcolm, Inch, Culhorn, Leswalt, Stranraer and possibly Perth.
