On the trail of the mysterious Georgina - but I might not have much to offer. Her hubby George was my grandfather's father, but I don't know when he died. I didn't know about Margaret and Mary, either, but a son John was born in Keir and apparently my g.grandfather was born in Scotland too. I have my g.grandfather's death certificate which says George Sr. was a farmer, but I can't read the minister's writing for grandpa's birthplace - it might be Canonbie, but doesn't quite look like that. I note the Victoria BMD has Georgina born in Kircudbright, but I haven't found her there. Look forward to anyone throwing any more light on the subject.
