Hello Jeff-
I don't know anything abt the CAMPBELLs or GRAHAMs, but the McKIBBENs & BUCHANANs- at least some lines -lived in/near Ulster (Ireland) came to the new colonies in the 1700's because of religious persecution. The McKibbens as well as the Buchanans were Presbyterian & originally from Scotland. A lot of Scots were 'planted' in Ireland- as history goes- so, at one time, a king of England (I think I am correct), could have some protestant sympathizers in Ireland.
I do have a book on the Clans of Scotland- I could check that for you, but I have just moved & it will take some time to locate it. Let me know if you are interested.
