Most of my records are of the prior generation to John and Laura. My research is in finding out more about John's grandmother Nancy Pollock McKibbin Cushman and her three McKibbin children: Mary Ann, James and John. Mary Ann was my gggrandmother and married Davis Maddox. Their child John Alexander married Mary Ellen Montgomery - my mother's grandparents whom she lived with in her youth. Our family stories revolve around Nancy McKibbin Cushman and then down to her grandson John Alexander. Nancy McKibbin Cushman was quite a character with a few wonderful stories that have been passed down.
I took a chance and called up a McKibbin living in Lawrenceville through the phone directory. He gave me his father Terry and Uncle Larry's phone numbers. These brothers are the grandsons of John Alexander McKibbin. Perhaps you know them. The older brother Larry seemed to have more memories of Nancy McKibbin Cushman. This was in 2001 and I have not gotten back to them since.
