My mother's maiden name is McKibben. Her father was Forrest Chambers McKibben, b. Oct 27, 1894 in Cleves, Hamilton Co., OH; his parents were Albert S. McKibben, b. ca. 1860 in OH(?) and Daisy Bell Chambers, from Cleves. By 1879, Albert lived in Augusta, KY, and was one of at least 4 McKibbens with businesses in that town. (He was a grocer.) When his son was still very young, Albert left Daisy and Forrest, and went back to Augusta. He worked for his brother James, who had a confectionary business. He died in the 1930s. Does any of this sound familiar? I would appreciate any information that you might have about this family. Thank you very much.
