On searching the McKerley stuff came over quite a lot of information on the James McKerlay / Catherine Tennant Wylie.
Found they were married 16th July 1880 in Possilpark, Glasgow Witnesses were Hugh White and a Jane J. Wyllie. He was 21 years old and she was 20 years old. James was an Iron Moulder Journeyman and Cathrine a Loom Weaver.
Came across the following children:
James McKerley: b 6th November 1878 at Possilpark, Glasgow (born out of wedlock) James the father was an Iron Moulder Journeyman.
James the son, went on to marry Agnes McCulloch ON 13th December 1901. A Robert McKerley was the witness. Turns out to be a brother.
John McKerlay: c 1883, died 6th April 1943, age 60 years. Was listed as being single.
Ann McKerlay: c December 1884, died 27th May 1885, age 6 months, in Glasgow.
Jane Johnston McKoerley (some changes in the spelling!): c 1885, died 1st April 1887, age 2 years, in Glasgow
Lily McKerley: b 12th July 1895, in Glasgow
Robert? no details, but, he did exist!
James McKerlay the father died 17th January 1916, age 56 years, in Glasgow. Catherine McKerlay m.s. Wyllie, died 19th November 1931, age 71 years in Glasgow.
Have more detail around the above and the parents of James. Let me know, and I can email you the document.
