Beatrice F. McKeown of Geneva Funeral services for Beatrice F. McKeown, 85, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Batavia. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the funeral home. Born Nov. 29, 1921, in Batavia, to William and Millie (nee Youngren) Everhart, she passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was known affectionately as "Grandma" by not just her own grandchildren but all the children that came to know her. She is survived by her sons, William (Julie) McKeown of Elburn and Jerry McKeown of North Aurora; grandchildren, Billy (Kristy) McKeown of Palatine and Shawn McKeown of Elburn; brothers, William, Delbert (Judy) and Robert Everhart; sister, Charlotte Ferrill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William; daughter, Cheryl Ann, who died at infancy; and sister, Winifred Swanson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Cancer Society, 143 First St., Batavia, IL 60510. For information, 630-879-7900.
