If a McKeown lived in Armagh area and moved to Scotland in the 1860's is it possible the translation of this name could have gone from McKeown to McGowan with the accent change? I know my McNeice went to McNeish. I think my McGowan from Loughgall is actually McKeown, ....do you this this is a possiblity
