Hi,
Well I'm another McKeown in New Zealand and the first of my branch to come here too. My family too were from Antrim, and also got out at the time of the famine and settled in Liverpool. My Great grandfather was born somewhere in Antrim in about 1844 and I assume that he left there with his family. I'm just starting to research the family.
