I am trying to find information on Martha Young McKeon who lived at
41 Burriss (burries?) St.
Hamilton
Ontario
(or any info on this address at all)
My gran Annie Kirkwood went from Glasgow, Scotland to work as domestic servant for this family for 10 months in 1929/1930. I am trying to trace the Kirkwood family tree but I beleive my Gran may have gone to Ontario to work for the Mckeon family because of Kirkwood connections in Ontario.
I have 2 lovely letters from Martha Mckeon to my Gran Annie Kirkwood dated 1930 and 1931 and from this I have worked out she had a husband in the car trade and a son possibly called Charles and a baby born around 1929 called Peggy Ann.
If there are any Mckeon's out there that recognise any of this, I'd love to share this info.
