Weston Mckeon, wife Lucinda and children; John 22, James 20, Rueben 18 and William 24 are listed in the 1860 Census of Tazewell, TN. I believe John is my Uncle by marriage to my great aunt, Susan Lettica Wilcox. John fought in the Civil War for the Union. Received a bullet in the arm I believe. Mrs. Mckeon made clothes for her 4 boys and took these clothes on a mule through enemy lines to her children. John fought along side his future father-in-law, James Washington WIlcox. James Washington lost his arm due to a bullet in his hand. John McKeon and Susan are listed in a book on line "The Tilson Genealogy", on page 221. It states that John is from Tazewell. Tn. The WIlcox family lived in Carter County, TN. Any information on the McKeon family will be greatly appreciated.
