Looking for MacKenzie/McKenzie family origin pls help

I do know that the line goes like this

Jack MacKenzie came to Canada from some place in Scotland by boat what year I am uncertain???

Bruce MacKenzie his son born April 12/1902

George Clair McKenzie his son born April 9/1933, died Aug/94 - my dad

What I am looking for is where my great-great grandfather came from I'm having so much trouble with that no one seems to know it's not like it's that far back 4 generations pls help????
