I am searching for information and help with the line of Daniel McKenzie born 1823 near Strathspey, Scotland. He married, Catherine Stalker born 1827, in Dollar Clackmannon
in 1848. They had children Peter Stalker McKenzie, Mary Ann McKenzie, David Stalker McKenzie, John Stalker McKenzie, Duncan Stalker McKenzie, Catherine Stalker McKenzie, and twins Daniel and William Stalker McKenzie.
They came to Onterio Canada in about 1855/56 and then into Detroit Michigan by 1860, then down to Pulaski, Illinois by 1870, then to Hutchinson, Kansas where Daniel died in 1884, then into the upper Idaho country, and then into Seattle, Washington. Know the Daniel born in 1823 had brothers that came with him and later many of the Stalker family came and settled in Canada or Ohio.
