A biography/family history of George F. McKenzie is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, page 1260. Parents: David and Mercy (Connor) McKenzie.
On 16 Jun 1880, at Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, George married Miss Phoebe Hoyt, daughter of William and Mary (DeWitt) Hoyt. Phoebe died March 1887, leaving two children: Kenneth and Harry. In Jun 1893, George married Miss Ida Hart, daughter of Isaac and Jane (Miller) Hart. Children: Ella, Agnes, Leila, Alice.
