I am researching the McKenny family of Baltimore and having a hard time of it! Mary/Minnie McKenny married my gr-grandfather Wm. Anderson and I've been trying to find her family. This is what I have so far: Unknown McKenny m. Mary ? abt. 1857-1859. Both b. Ireland. Children, b. MD [probably Baltimore]: a. Anna / Annie McKenny, b. abt. 1859-60. prob. married Patrick Mullen, had at least one son Leo Mullen. b. Mary / Minnie McKenny, b. abt. 1861-62, m. Wm. Anderson. 6 children, all b. Baltimore; family moved to Bronx, NY early 1900's. c. Andrew McKenny, b. abt. 1862-63. Note: could father have also been named Andrew? Mary McKenny lived alone w/ her 3 kids at 1870 census; husband probably deceased. Minnie and Annie were living in separate households, working as servants, at 1880 Census. No sign of mother Mary [presumed deceased] or, so far, brother Andrew [about age 17-18]. Mary/Minnie m. 1888 to Wm. Anderson. She was a seamstress and/or dressmaker most of her life. Don't know when Annie married Patrick Mullen; I believe he was b. Ireland, and their children b. Baltimore. Andrew was living w/ his married sister's family [Anderson] at 1890 [per Balt. City Dir.]. His occupation was the same as his bro-in-law Wm. Anderson, "printer". His approx. age at that time would have been 27-28. I haven't yet checked 1900, 1910 Censuses for Andrew or Annie as I don't have access to an index. Wm. and Minnie Anderson were already in Bronx, NY by the 1910 census. Minnie died before the 1920 Census, supposedly in NYC, but I am unable to locate her death record or grave so far. Buried with her husband [he d. 1951] in the same grave in NYC [St. Raymonds] are a couple named PARCELLI [Marie and Ettoro, bured 1917 and 1939, respectively] with whom I am not familiar. However, I have a suspicion that this is the older sister of Wm. Anderson [and her husband]. Any assistance in locating further info on this family would be appreciated. Will share whatever info I have. ...Kim Danielsen Yuma, AZ kdgeneal@mindspring.com Notify Administrator about this message?
