Hello! I'm trying to find information on my grandfather, he died when my mother was young and we don't have much information.
He came to New York some time in the '20's or early '30's, we think - he was married to my grandmother by 1936, and she came over from Ireland a few years before (we think).
His name was Francis McKenna. I think he was born some time between 1905 and 1910, but I'm not sure. He married Kathleen (Kitty) Mulligan in New York around 1935 and had 6 kids. They lived in Brooklyn, and I don't think they ever left the area. He died some time in the 1960's in New York, I think around 1965.
I know it's a long shot, especially without more information (I don't even know what county he was from), but if anyone has any guesses please send them along. Thank you!!
