I am working on the family of Rose Slavin McKenna, born about 1875 in IA. She was the wife of Harmon T.McKenna, c. 1872, and the mother of Madaline, c. 1900, and Harmon H. McKenna, born 1901. The family was in Iowa prior to 1900, when they appear in the Omaha Census, and stayed in Omaha through at least 1930.
I hope to find the parents of Rose; her father should be a Slaven/Slavin, born in Rhode Island, and living in Iowa in the 1870's. I have information to share.
