Hi, I'm looking for any information on my great grandmother's family. She was Mary Bridget McKenna from Monaghan, possibly Emyvale, Ireland. She married Bernard Gormley, who worked in Rossmore House in Monaghan, as head gardener, we think. He later owned a public house in Monaghan, in Park Street. Her brother or possibly cousin may have been Bishop Patrick McKenna, of the Dr McKenna Cup for GAA. Don't know when she was born or married, but approximately born 1880's and maybe married early 1900's. She and Bernard had a large family, mostly boys, and some of them went to America. She later moved to County Donegal with her husband and 3 youngest sons.
Hope someone can help, as I'm just starting this research, and don't know which McKenna family she came from.
