In 1870 there were 13 McKenna's listed in Worchester so I skipped ahead to 1900 the best census records. I beleive them to be who you are searching for. 1900 Massachusetts Worchester Spencer T623 Roll 694 Page 34 line 45 - 9 Main Street John W? b MA Sept 1867 age 32 married less then a year father born new Brunswick mother b Ireland occupation Pegger Shoe factory McKenna Elizabeth b Eng Feb 1875 immigrated 1889 in US 11 yrs parents b Eng married less then 1 year no children. Both can read & write & they rent a house. Months not employed says 3. The census was done on June 11th you can research their marriage from June 1899-June 1900. ------------ 1910 MA Bristol 3rd Ward New Bedford T624 Roll 578 Page 150 Line 23 - 137 Kingston St McKenna John H age 42 b MA married 10 years father b Canafa mother b MA occupation Shoe maker factory Elizabth age 35 b Eng married 10 yrs no children parents b England - both could read & write ---------- Unable to find either in 1920, probably a misspell on the name McKenna unless Elizabeth was already a widow and left the area. If you need more on John I would send for his birth certificate. For Elizabeth her immigration records. I hope this is some help. I am not related Notify Administrator about this message?
