Searching for the family of Anna and James Mc Kelvey from Sudbury, Ontario

I am researching Anna McKelvey and her father James. They were living in Canada, Sudbury District when Anna was born in December of 1864, Her father James was born in Ireland in August of 1832. They both were living in Manistique, Schoolcraft County, Michigan in the 1900 Census. If anyone know their background before they came to America I would appreciate some feedback
