I found the information at ancestry.com. I typed in John W McKelvey - no state or country - & 15 hits came up. I clicked on the 1st entry & there she was.
I also show a Margaret Stone as George N. McKelvey's wife. However - on the message boards at ancestry.com I had posted a enquiry about George N. & a reply stated he was married to a Margaret J. PARKER. After investigating Margaret Parker - many dates & places fit. I was also struck by the fact that Margaret's father was named Hosea (pronounced hose) which is the middle name of George N's son John ( my great grandfather). My grandmother told me they always wondered where the name came from as children were always named for family members.
I suppose it's possible George N. had more than 1 wife. As of yet I have found nothing regarding Margaret I. Stone. I haven't done any checking on Embry yet - haven't gotten that far yet.
