I have spent years trying to find information on George McKelvey.
George was from Franklin County Tenn.
His brothers included - Arch - Harvey - Hollis - Herbert - & possibly Jess.
H may have had a sister named Kizzie.
I have no information regarding his wife or parents.
Georges' son - John Hose McKelvey was born in Sebastian County Ark. in December 1870 or 1872.
Died Feb. 1, 1936 in Tulsa Oklahoma.
I have no information regarding siblings.
Married Sarah Louiza Casebolt in 1898. (born April 26 1877 in Marion County Ark.)
They had 1 child - William Dovie McKelvey born Dec. 8, 1899 or 1900 in Dawson, Tulsa County Oklahoma.
Died July 29, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Married Edna Harris in 1922 (born Aug. 27, 1906 in Ozark County, Missouri).
They had 2 children - Dovie Eugene McKelvey who died in infancy - 1925 or 1926 in Tulsa or Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Johnnie Francis McKelvey born August 10, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Died December 24, 1999 in Illinois.
Johnnie is my father.
