I am looking for any information on the family of David McKellop who was in Freeman's Georgia Squadron in the War of 1812. David married Mary Perryman, a Creek Indian and came to Indian Territory in 1828 with the Perryman and McIntosh party. David was supposed to have been born in Scotland and came to America as a child. He was a Methodist Missionary among the Creek Indians in Indian Territory (OK)where he died in 1841. Any clues at all to his parentage would be appreciated.
