In the preceeding entry I said that James McKellar's second wife was Salllie McColl. This is a mistake. James McKellar married Margaret J. Currie after the death of his first wife Flora Catherine McEachern and he and Margaret had the following children: John Edward McKellar b 1880 d 1947 buried Alloway Cemetery Red Springs - wife Flora Alice James Addison b 1882 died 1940 buried Alloway Cemetery Luther B b 1886 d 1932 Alloway Cemetery Ella M 1878-1885 Lebanon Cemetery buried next to James her father The John McKellar (G4)died 1852 was married to Ann, died leaving a wife and 7 children. Census of 1860 Ann and children still together with James A. McDaniel living on farm. Ann later married James A. McDaniel.They have no children. Group 2 - Adeline McKellar d 1934 Group 3 - Joseph MCKellar b 1853 Melton McKellar b 1849 Elizabeth McKellar b 1847 and also Mary wife of Alex. Thompson b May 4, 1853 also buried at Baker Cemetery - twin of Joseph These are all children of Ann and John McKellar (G-4) Group (1) and (2) Kemper b 1873 Edward Lee b 1881 R. Wellington known as "Well" McKellar are all children of Adeline McKellar. Group (1) Dewey, Frank, and Julion are children of Kemper McKellar and Lottie. She later married a Royals. 1900 Census - Marion County - Carmichael District Edward McKellar age 20 and Kemper McKellar age 21 are living with James A. McDaniel age 64.
