Hi Stu,

Here is the 1861 census:

Margaret Dau 10 Walsall, Staffs
John McDonough Visitor 25 Ag Lab Ireland

RG9/2017 Folio 108 Page 16

By 1871, it seems that John Mckeever has died and Ann has remarried:

Walsall, Staffs
Rushall St.
James Harding Head 59 Labourer in glass works Ireland
Ann Harding 57 Ireland
James Mckeever son 23 Caster Walsall,Staffs

Margaret Mckeever Dau 20 Boot Fitter Walsall,Staffs
Maryann Mckeever Dau 1 Walsall Staffs.
RG10/2960 Folio 131 Page 4

In 1871, Patrick is living at 39 Corporation St., Walsall. He is 32 years old. He has a wife, Elizabeth aged 27. She was born in Brierly Hill, Worcestershire. There are 3 children; Francis B. aged 7, Mary B. aged 3 and Fredk B. aged 1
RG10/2965 Folio 127 Page 26.

Patrick Lawrence Mckeever was married in the June Quarter of 1863 Walsall 6b-793.
If you purchase the marriage certificate, it will confirm that John is Patrick's father.
You can purchase certs on line from the General Register Office:
http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/
Safe and easy to do. I do it all the time from the US.

Ann Mckeever married James Harding in December Quarter 1870 Walsall 6b-1028. The name is transcribed McGeever on the BMD index.
If you send for her marriage cert you will get her maiden name.

Sorry but can't help with Irish records...Have a similar problem myself!

Hope this is helpful
Pam B.
