So good to hear from you. My grandmother told me about Rose McKeehan who made clothes for her boys during the Civil War and took them on a mule thru the fighting. My grandmother,s father was James Washington Wilcox who fought side by side with John McKeehan. They were confederates. James had two brothers who fought for the Union, Major C.C. Wilcox and Lt. David Wilcox. My James Washington Wilcox got his hand shot and had problems with it after the war was over. Major C. C. Wilcox moved to Emporia, Kansas after the war. Lt. David Wilcox stayed in his hometown after the war. Shirley Dreaden
