My info is that Alexander McKee married Margaret Lowry, daughter of Lazarus Lowry. Lazarus Lowry and all five of his sons were engaged in the Indian Trade, as was Thomas McKee. The five sons-
James who married Susanna Patterson
John "blown to bits in 1749" by a gamesome Indian's casting a spark into a keg of powder near which he was sitting in distant Ohio.
Daniel
Lazaus Jr
Alexander b 1726 (only 18 yrs. old when he began to Indian trade.

This information is from "Scots Breed & Susquehanna," by Hubertis Cummings, a publication of the Presbyterian Historical Society. It's a book I found years ago in a used book store and bought for five dollars.

There's quite a bit more in it about the Lowrys and Thomas McKee.
