Hi Patsy,
Was browsing and saw your message. I'm sure you have found out more by now!
Did you know that Absalom was a postmaster in North Sewickley, PA in 1838? I just ran across that info today.
It was on Ancestry, a book called "Gateway to the West" and
listed the postmasters for this little town in Knox County.
A little puzzling, tho, as it lists "Absolom Sovern, Sr." and then again without the "Sr.". I only know of one Absalom, not a senior or junior.
Just thought I'd touch base.
