Hello today Cathy, I hope your day is going great also. Just in from gardening work. Spring has gotten to Arkansas and gone already. Seems we are teetering on the verge of an early and hot summer. On the genealogy front, I have high hopes of hearing from some of the McKeesport descendants still. In the FTDNA McKee Group, we have recently had a man test yDNA who has pedigree work descending from lineage claiming McKeesport but still no one else to compare with so whatever he comes up with will set the stage for the yDNA for the McKee of McKeesport. That will be a beginning. There's bound to be more McKee men descended from the McKeesport and/or McKees Rocks if we could just get them interested in yDNA tests. We have several descended from the same lineage as the Thomas McKee and John McKee who married the Hogg/Hoge sisters in the mid to third quarter of the 1700s but strangely none for McKeesport or Colonel Alexander McKee. We will see when we see I suppose. I always learn from your posts about the PA McKee and other surnames. Thanks so much for sharing that work with us. Linda Notify Administrator about this message?
