Dear Lisa,
Hi! Don't know that I can add anything to your information, but, I wonder if you know if your John McKee might have had a brother, Thomas. (It seems to me that the names you gave match up with the names I have connected to my Thomas McKee.) Anyway, my Thomas, b. 1735 in N. Ireland, m. Mary ______; came to US before the Revolution. Thomas and Mary McKee had 3 children, John, b. 6/5/1761 in N. Ire., Robert, b. 1763, and Thomas, b. 1765. This family lived in Cumberland Co., PA. Unfortunately, I also do not know the names of the elder Thomas's parents.
Do you think your John and my Thomas were brothers?
Patty
