1763       Thomas McKee on June 2, 1763 named with James Burd to be Commissioner to Settle Disputes with Connecticut Settlers. These disputes likely regarding settlers (squatters) from Connecticut claiming rights in northeast PA above the divide of Susquehanna R. in later became part of Northhampton County, PA.
       1763        Thomas McKee wrote letter to Sir William Johnson, Colonial Governor of PA on Aug 23 possibly regarding up Susquehanna R. Indian matters and notes actions of his son, Alexander?.
1763       Reference to McKee Trading Post on Path to Shamokin upstream. This would place the McKee Trading Post on the westside of the Susquehanna R where an Indian path was know going southward toward the Juniata Area.

1765       Margaret Powel - 75 ac 80 ps surveyed for warrant of 23 Aug 1765 for land across Powells Ck in Halifax Twp, Dauphin County. Parcel over the Blue Hills of Peters Mountain, near Forster’s Falls and near James Reed place including improvements made by John Powell while living 25 years on said property. This parcel on the eastside of Susquehanna R. Between land of Jacob Grebill to north and John Newbecker to the south; who acquired parcel in 1815. Application notes that she is widow of John Powel and acts for interest of herself and children. Originally the Powel parcel was 135 ac before lower half sold to Newbecker.
1765       Thomas McKee on 17 Oct, 1765 entered a Caveat (warning) with the Survey Office against the acceptance of a survey made for Margaret Powell in pursuance of her Application No. 608 of 23 Aug 1765 for 100 ac of land and improvements in Lancaster County. McKee alleging that he had purchased the premisses at a Sheriff’s Sale years ago and had possessed the same. Margaret Powel filed a legal action against Thomas McKee in 1767.
1766       Thomas McKee took out application for 100 ac and Survey in Consequence of land left by John Powell will to wife and children because Powell Estate indebted to McKee (See Powell Will of 1747, proven after 1748.). This claim by Mckee was questioned in court.
1766       Thomas McKee - 200 ac Application for warrant of 1Aug 1766 but not surveyed until 9 May 1833 for land lying on the eastside of Susquehanna R above Powel’s Creek and the Narrows called the widow Foster’s; below land of James Reed, Esq. Adjacent to application of John Taylor and on the back of Peters Mountain all situated in Halifax Twp Lancaster (Dauphin ) County. It is noted that this tract is included in two previous surveys, one dated 23 Aug 1765 granted to Margaret Powel later claimed by Newbaker heirs and the other warrant dated 26 Jul 1766 granted to John Taylor.
1766       Thomas McKee on 7 Oct, 1766 entered a Caveat (warning ) with Survey Office against acceptance of a Survey made or to be made for a tract of land & house on the East side of the Susquehanna R. in Lancaster County until a hearing before the Land Office or Commissioners of Property as McKee alleging that he had possessed of property & improvements for fourteen years . This tract first settled and improved by Simon Girtie who was later killed on the Ohio R.
1766       Hugh McKee - 130 ac 88 ps surveyed for warrant of 14 Feb, 1766. An application of 2 Oct1766 for land in Peters Twp, Cumberland (Franklin) County. Adjacent to other land of Hugh McKee on the west, Joseph Dunlap. This parcel later to Thomas McKee & Geo. Dickey Executors of Hugh McKee Trust on 19 Mar 1798.
1766       William McKee 202 ac plus road allowance for warrant issued 26 Aug 1766 for land adjoining land of John McKee situated on the head of Brightfields Run in (later Derry then Granville Twp, Mifflin Co). Cumberland County This parcel later divided with 125 ac 78 ps to Robert McKee in 1836 and 118 ac pc to Hugh McKee in 1847. Adjacent to land of Hugh McKe in Trust for heirs of David McKee and land of Hugh McKee by right of John McKee
1766       Andrew McKee - 151 ac 78 ps plus road allowance for warrant issued on 26 Aug 1766 for land adjoining land of William McKee(believed brother of Andrew) to the southwest and land of estate of of John Fergerson on the head of Brightwell’s Run in Cumberland (Later Derry Twp Miffin Co?). This parcel to Robert McKee et al in 1836?

1766       John McKee - 267 ac 126 ps surveyed for warrant of 26 Aug 1766 for land and improvements of John Chapman at Deer lick on the head spring of Brightfields Run on the north side of Juaniata River. This area later Derry Twp in Cumberland (Miffin) County. This parcel then adjacent to land of Wm. McKee and vacant hills. Patented by John McKee on 12 Jul 1799.
