I keep coming back to the same gravesite of Samuel Sinclair and Elizabeth McKee at Versailles Cemetery in Pittsburgh. They are buried next to Henry Myers and family. One of the people in the Myers lot belong to the family of Lewis and Clark which is about 300 ft away in the Lewis and Clark lot.
Actually it's Lewis, Clark and Cooke. I have traced the Cookes to CSA Col John Esten Cooke buried just 20 ft from Governor Edmund Jennings Randolph who was Thomas Jefferson's cousin. They are buried at Millwood VA with the Morgan family of General Daniel Morgan.
General Morgan's daughter Nancy married Presley Neville of Pittsburgh who was an aide to General Lafayette. John Esten Cooke wrote a story about Hunter John Myers who was a close friend of General Lafayette and his foster brother Dr Felix Brunot. Dr Brunot is buried at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
The Lewis and Clark families in the Lewis and Clark lot look to be related to General Andrew Lewis and his brother Alexander Lewis.
Elizabeth McKee was said to be related to John McKee the founder of McKeesport also buried at Versailles Cemetery a few feet from Captain Daniel Pollard a riverboat captain who ran General Grant's flagship during the Civil War.
I am still trying to sort this out on exactly where Elizabeth Mckee came from and why did she marry Samuel Sinclair who's father was also named Samuel Sinclair, a surveyor for George Washington.
