I have a copy of an original record from the 1760s in Mecklenburg Co. NC in which an Abram Stevens sells everything from his grey mare to his household goods and furnishings to an Alexander McKee. I wonder if this could be Col. McKee since his mother was said to be from NC. (I am a Stevens researcher.)
