I noticed in your side comment about McKees buried in this cemetery you mentioned Alexander's family of Simon Girty,Geo. Washington---.
I know Alexander the Tory, was son of Thomas, b1695; Thomas's father was
Alexander, Ireland.
Alexander had an indian mother, raised near Juniata. Alex. was once Justice of Peace in Westmorland Co. Both Alexanders were famous indian agents-Bro.,James lived at McKeesrocks, but left out of fear ofindians, and his son stayed and built the town.
I wonder if you are saying this Alexander is buried there. I have read there is not a close relationship between the two families.
At the time Alex. and others ran in the night from Ft. Pitt they ended up in Canada, where they fought the British and became heroes there. I would be very surprised if he is buried in Versailles.
