Phillip--You are welcome. I briefly searched the internet for "land grants revolutionary war KY". Kentucky's Secretary of State website has some info on this topic. Try http://www.sos.ky.gov/land/military/revwar/RWmilitarydistrict.htm

My ancestor was James Girdler who, if memory serves, was on the "Pennsylvania line" in the war. We believe he is buried in Somerset, Pulaski Co, KY. This is a search area I have not delved into--YET.
