Pa. children of Wm. and Marjory Sewart, Ire.

I have just found an unread article in my notes, and tho I would love to believe it, I think it is incorrect.
It shows Wm. McKee and Marjorie Stewart, Ireland, to be parents of David McKee, b. Ire. in 1706 (We have 1710). He died in McKeesport in 1795; it shows David's wife, mother of his sons, to be Prudy McCleary of Ireland. I have seen this before. Wife #2 was a Margaret, d. in McKeesport. The part that excites me is: it shows my Samuel McKee, for whom I've searched his parents for years, as David and Prudy. It also agrees with my records that he died in Westmorland Co. Pa. It doesn't mention year--1780. And even to make it more interesting, my close friend's descendant, Martha Hoge, marr'd Thomas McKee, and he is listed as Sam'ls brother.
I am very suspicious of this, since I know Thomas & Martha lived in Juniata Co. and his later years in Butler Co, I know that David's son Thomas, owned a farm near David, purchased by his sister and husband at his death. His marital life, children: very little is known about Thomas
My Saml. was an indian fighter in Hempfield, Westmorland, bro. of Capt. Robert McKee, (wife Elizabeth), rode with
him, neighbors and also listed as son of David and Margaret, in Allegheny Co (but at about that time part of Westmor.)
Davids son, Robert, had a wife named Susanna. Wives not named.
I have had in my records that the parents of David (1710) were John and Esther Hawthorne. The Rockbridge, Va. group, mother Miriam, also show David, wife Margaret, as their bro. who went to McK. Port. Can't all be right.
I do not think we have any connection to Ky-Va. I hope someone can correct any of the above info. Thanks, Donna
