That message title is premature I am sure. However, I cannot contain my exhilaration and excessive, irrational exuberancy.

For the present day I will just make the previous statement and continue my effort to 100% prove it. Can I give you an unbroken lineage? No. Will I ever be able to have complete paperwork? Maybe, maybe not. There are other YDNA related McKee who will carry on this work for certain.

According to various YDNA results for several of the McKee and where they came from and who they relate to and my husband's nearest match on SMGF and recent discoveries of the ancestry of where the Ohio Ambrose McKee came from......Saint Anthem, County Down and the earlier extensive work of many McKee descendants.............and,

Kevin McKee of California, who has some YDNA kinship with my husband; and, who still has the best McKee website and has long led the way for so many McKee researchers, even while continuing his long fought battle with cancer.

And, Mavis Bassett, descendant of Thomas McKee of Saintfield County Down of the SMGF McKee lineage, whose line is early on into Utah from Pennsylvania.

There are many threads and tons of loose ends but there it is for all the world to see. Will it stand the test of close reserch? I think so. As more McKee test for YDNA and we find more lines it will be proven beyond a doubt.

Bring it on................Linda McKee
