John and Mahala McKee ca. 1830 IN

I am searching for information on John and Mahala McKee, parents to Rev. Milton Robert McKee. Milton was born in Shelby Co., IN in 1830. I was just given the names of Milton's parents from a gentleman who is working on the Indiana history for the Free Will Baptist church. He told me that Milton's bio is short and asked if I could 'flesh out' his history.

Per the bio, John and Mahala were listed as his parents and that he had married twice. I did find a record of a marriage in 1825 of a John McKee and Mahala Lewis in Shelby Co., IN. I also saw on one of the census records where Milton had stated his parents had been born in PA.

Other than that I don't have anything else. I would like to know when John and Mahala came to Indiana and the migratory route -- my assumption is that if they were born in PA, then the route would have been through OH to IN.

I would appreciate any information available. Thanks.
