Paul, I just read your letter again, in which you say I am letting secondary facts confuse me. I don't know what you mean by that. If you mean I made a mistake, listing Mary Peebles as Thomases daughter instead of his sister, I did, and I knew better.
But you go on to send me all that history about the McKees, Rockbridge bunch and whatever, are you telling me you believe that David and all his kids came up from the south, rather than over the mts. in the east?
If so, will you please tell me what facts you have to substantiate that. I have tried to figure it out, and everything I know leads to Esther Hawthorne & John McKee being the parents.
I'd be interested to know your thinking.
