That was more helpful to me. I am now getting the feeling that this whole scene is much more closely located than I visioned. And I know that the fact there are so many McKees with the same names, in the same Counties, I can't keep them separated. All the McKees in the Butler Co. area and the Allegheny are probably kin of the Westmorland bunch.
In your opinion, have you read enough about the McK Pt. family to decide if you think they are of the Va. family or the ones who came from the east (John and Ester). There is a David b 1710 listed with a wife Margaret, founder of McK.Pt. listed in both families. Thanks
