Hello Jason,

The thread of messages I have just been studying brought me back to this post.

Wanted to take this opportunity to ask if you ever took the Y DNA test?

If not, let me please encourage you or someone in your family to please test a male descandant in your McKee Family.

My husband's results have helped me in the search and the McKee Group at FTDNA now has about 21-22 members and the more we can add the sooner we can prove our ancestry.

Hopefully, all researchers reading this post will consider this Y DNA work for their McKee search. I think it is one of the most helpful tools available for new searchers. The value for your expense is a good and long term genealogy investment. ( Just my personal opinion.) Linda McKee
