Edward E. 'Gene' McKee, 77, Kingsport, Sullivan Co TN,
passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 19, 2009, at
Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.

A native of Johnson City, Washington Co TN, he was a son
of the late Ed Mitchell McKee and Reba Russell McKee.

Mr. McKee was a Veteran of the United States Air Force
having served his country in the Korean War. He was the
owner of Gene McKee Realty in Kingsport, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
his brothers, Robert and Ralph McKee.

Survivors include a son, Ed McKee and wife, Rebecca,
Winston-Salem, NC; daughter, Eugenia McKee and husband,
Larry Swartz, Lancaster, KY; grandchildren, Sam and
Garrett McKee; sisters, Elaine King and husband Tom,
Radford, VA, Louise Rahm, Tucker, GA, and Shirley Budlong
and husband Don, Richmond, VA; and several nieces and

A visitation for Mr. McKee will be conducted from 2 p.m.
to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2009, at Woodall-Anderson
Dugger Funeral Home. Inurnment will be conducted at a
later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations
be made to the charity of your choice.
