Thanks for your response.

Do you know if any of the descendants of your David McKee or his sibings migrated on down to western VA and the Carolinas? Also, do you know if any of your McKee kin have taken the Y-DNA Test?

There was at least one 1700 era McKee with the given name of Peter who had descendants in very early East TN. The descendants were mentioned as heirs of Peter McKee in a LW&T record book. I could look it up for you if you think if might tie with your folks.
