How many Alexander McKee's were out there?
I am trying to find where my Alexander fits into McKee History.
Here is my Alexander.

Alexander McKee

Birth: Abt.1797 in Pa or MD
Death: Unknown
Sex:M

Parents are thought to be, not confirmed by me
Father:James McKee b. 1755 in Pa
Mother:Agnes Dixon b. 1749-1750 in Cumberland County, Pa

Residence: US CENSUS 1850 Shippensberg, Cumberland County, Pa

Census: Roxbury 1860 Letterkenny, Franklin Co, Pa

Wife: Francina Bowen b. in Pa

Marriage: 15 Nov 1841 Big Springs Church, Newville, Cumberland, Pa

Known Children:
William Alexander McKee b. 8 Nov 1848 in Pa
Mary Catherine McKee

Alexander is listed on one census as Alxr Mckee (unreadable).

Alexander Mckee is also listed on the 1860 Agriculture Census,Franklin County, Pennsylvania, 1860 Agricultural Census, (found at) Valley of the Shadow: Two Communities in the American Civil War, Virginia Center for Digital History, University of Virginia (http://valley.vcdh.virginia.edu/govdoc/ag_census.html).

Alexander was said to be somewhat of a mountain man, by grandson Albert Alexander Luther Mckee, son of William Alexander McKee.
I would love to hear anything from anyone researching McKee's during these years, or any.
