Cathy, My records show that Mary, the daughter of David, the immigrant, md.
James Peebles. Also, I show David's son Thomas, had six children, tho he might've died early.
Mostly, I want to see if you'd agree:
Robert and Suzanna had 4 children: David and Robert were named in grandads Will of 1795-Robert had died in 1782. Their daughters were Mary (Torrance) and Elizabeth (Samuel Sinclair Jr.) Their children were: Jane and Rebecca md. to Wm. and Isaac Edmundson. Robert Mary b. 1797, md. John Peebles (Joel) (Her Aunt Mary md. James Peebles.) Do you show this? Nancy to John Robison, (My Saml's dtr, Sarah, md. John Robinson) Louise Rose, Sarah Eliza. md. J.W. Edgar Presley Hiram md. Sarah Jane Cunningham:
her uncles, David and James wives, are Jean and Margaret Cunningham. Can you verify that Suzanna is the name of your Elizabeth Sinclairs grandmother? And that her sister, Mary, is Torrance? With so many Elizabeths, I fear you are going to tell me she is Elizabeth, wife of Capt.Robert McK; both names are shown as wives of Robert, the son of David, and both have sons named David and Robt. named in old Davids Will. Or if you can tell me what year your Robert died.
Suzanna's died in 1782, Elizabeth's in 1813. Thanks.
