Margaret Donnell (1809-1875, Strabane) was my GG Grandmother. Her parents were Ezekiel Donnell (abt 1763, Castletown- 1833, Woodend, parish of Leckpatrick) and a woman with surname Ross (from Lisnaragh, Donagheady Parish, Tyrone). Ezekiel's father was William Donnell (d. 1782, Leckpatrick near Strabane) and mother was Eleanor Gamble (d. abt 1765). Eleanor Gamble's father was Andrew Gamble (d. bef 1732, Strabane).
Margaret Donnell married Joseph McKee (1801-1880, Strabane). McKee was the son of Matthew McKee (d. Magheracoltan, near Newtownsteward, Co. Tyrone).
I have some children of these folks, also. Names like Bates, Hamilton, Laird, Macghee, McFarland, and Orr are tied into the family in ways that I can describe if you will contact me. I am most interested in tying these families together further, especially if we can update them with descendants. Some came to America; many stayed.
