Beth Salem Cemetery, Greene County, AL: Col. John McKee, born 1771 Rockbridge County VA died at "Hill of Howth", Greene County AL 1833. Agent of U.S. for Choctaw Indians, Member of Congress USA.

Could this be the same John McKee born 1771, son of John and Rosanna (Cuningham) McKee listed in "A History of Rockbridge County, Virginia" by Morton, page 508.
