The notes on early Pa. McKees is so helpful to me. I know my Capt.Robert McKee d. 1813, wife Elizabeth,is one of those. Fought in the Revol with Gen. St Clair, and his bro., Sgt. Saml. McKee,d.1780, both buried in McKee cemetery no.of Greensburg. Both lived in Hempfield Twp, Westmorland Co. I read old Capt. Robt died on his farm named "Omaghi",near Cabin Hill, in Rose Fountain Hollow. Where is that? Either Saml, or Robt. is my grandfather.
