I believe that William Robert McKee was born 1785, in Chester SC. I do not have information concerning his parents, but the birth date of 1760, in Chester, for John McKee raises the possibility that William Robert McKee could have been related to John (Son? Nephew?). From William I show a generational line-up of his son, Hugh Kelsey McKee (1st), then Levi Mills McKee, then Hugh Kelsey McKee (2nd), my father, born August 7, 1885, died February 26, 2960. I have the results of 67 DNA markers that indicate my origins were in Haplogroup R1b1c7 (Northwest Ireland). If Colin McKee has tested, and shows an origin of R1b1c7, then quite possibly we have a common ancestor [John McKee}. Should we proceed from that point?
